Spot2Spot is a feature of the DAI application. It provides spot level ad replacement capabilities using SSAI.

Spot2Spot relies on the SCTE-35 TimeSignal markers which need to be present in the linear stream. It can also use the Call Ad Server message up to 15 minutes before the ad break to smooth the VAST ad calls load on the ad server.

Spot2Spot leverages Ad Server ecosystem capable of managing both Linear Ad Schedules (e.g Freewheel HylDA, Equativ, Viznet, …)

The SNMP AFMM Addressable TV guidelines can be used as a specification to implement spot level ad replacement.

IAB Open Measurement compliant ad tracking with Smartlib client SDK. You can find more information on the Smartlib player integration hub.

Unlike traditionnal break- level ad replacement, Spot2Spot operates at the ad level. In this use case, there is no break end gap filler.
